The Schwarzman Animal Medical Center

 The Schwarzman Animal Medical Center on the Upper East Side is the world's largest non-profit animal hospital and a veterinary teaching hospital, with roots going back to 1914. It is New York City's only Level 1 Veterinary Trauma Center, running 24/7 emergency and critical care alongside more than 20 specialty services. Its veterinarians treat tens of thousands of dogs, cats, birds and exotic pets each year.
