Portillo's

Iconic Chicago-style hot dogs and Italian beef in a Prohibition-themed dining room

Portillo's began as a small hot dog stand in Villa Park in 1963 and grew into a Chicago institution known for Chicago-style hot dogs, Italian beef sandwiches, char-broiled burgers and its famous chocolate cake shake. The downtown restaurant at Ontario and Clark pairs the full menu with Barnelli's pasta bowls in a 1930s Prohibition-themed dining room.
