Pizzeria Bianco is chef Chris Bianco's original downtown Phoenix pizzeria, in a historic brick building at Heritage Square since the late 1980s. Its wood-fired pizzas — including the Rosa with Arizona pistachios and the Wiseguy with house-smoked mozzarella — helped redefine artisanal pizza in America. Bianco won the James Beard Award for Best Chef: Southwest in 2003 and Outstanding Restaurateur in 2022.
