The Montreal Biodome recreates five ecosystems of the Americas — tropical rainforest, Laurentian forest, St. Lawrence marine world, Labrador coast and sub-Antarctic islands — inside the former Olympic velodrome. More than 2,500 animals and hundreds of plant species live in these walk-through habitats. It is part of the Space for Life museum complex in Olympic Park.
