Macy's Herald Square

 Macy's Herald Square has anchored West 34th Street since 1902 and is the flagship of the Macy's chain, filling an entire city block with about 2.2 million square feet of space. Shoppers can still ride its original wooden escalators, and the store hosts the spring Flower Show and Santaland each year. The building is a National Historic Landmark.
