His work centers on the accidental leader, the top performer who gets promoted and then has to figure out leadership alone. He comes to this from the field, not the classroom. Over 35 years in management, including more than a decade in the C-suite, Jim built and led sales teams at Perot Systems, Cognizant, HMS, and mPulse. He tripled revenue, took a 15% close ratio to 72%, and saw what happens when people are actually taught how to lead.
