Gold's Gym Venice

Founded by Joe Gold in Venice in 1965, this is the original Gold's Gym and the most famous gym in bodybuilding history — the 'Mecca of Bodybuilding' where Arnold Schwarzenegger and generations of champions trained. The huge facility a few blocks from Venice Beach offers extensive free weights, machines, cardio and an outdoor training area. Day passes let visitors train at a fitness landmark.
