Georgia Aquarium

Opened in 2005 in downtown Atlanta, Georgia Aquarium is one of the largest aquariums in the world, holding more than 11 million gallons of water and tens of thousands of animals across galleries including Ocean Voyager, where whale sharks glide through a 100-foot tunnel. The nonprofit aquarium also runs marine research and conservation programs, plus daily dolphin and sea lion presentations.
